This page explains how customs duties and import taxes are handled for orders shipped from iwearvouge to Saudi Arabia and the United States, and why you won’t be charged anything extra when your order arrives.

What Is DDP Shipping?

DDP stands for Delivered Duty Paid — an international shipping method where all customs duties, import taxes, and government fees are calculated and paid before your order leaves our warehouse, rather than collected from you on delivery.

In practice, this means the checkout price you pay is the final price. There’s nothing more to pay when the courier hands over your package — no cash collection, no customs invoice, no unexpected fee.

Where DDP Applies

🇦🇪 United Arab EmiratesDomestic delivery — no customs duty applies
🇸🇦 Saudi ArabiaDDP — duties included, free shipping
🇺🇸 United StatesDDP — duties included, free shipping

UAE orders are domestic shipments and are not subject to customs duty. Orders to Saudi Arabia and the United States are international shipments and ship under DDP terms as described above.

What’s Included in Your Price

For orders shipped to Saudi Arabia and the United States, the price shown at checkout already includes:

  • The product price
  • Applicable customs duties
  • Applicable import taxes (for example, sales tax or VAT charged at the border, where relevant)
  • Standard shipping, which is free

You will not be asked for any additional payment by the courier, a customs broker, or a local tax authority to release your package.

How Duties Are Calculated

Customs duties and import taxes are calculated based on the product’s declared value, its customs classification (HS code), and the destination country’s applicable duty rate at the time of dispatch. We pre-pay these amounts on your behalf as part of our DDP shipping arrangement with our courier partners, so they’re built into the price you see at checkout — not added afterward.

Because rates are set by each country’s customs authority and can change, the exact amount included may vary slightly between orders and over time; this does not change the final price you pay at checkout.

Customs & Duty on Returns

If you return an eligible item, we refund the amount you paid at checkout in line with our Refund & Returns Policy. In some cases, customs duties already paid to the destination country’s authority on a returned item may not be recoverable by us; where that applies, this portion may be excluded from your refund. Our support team will let you know if this applies to your specific order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be charged anything when my order arrives?

No. Under DDP, all customs duties and import taxes are already included in your checkout price. The courier will not request any further payment to deliver your order.

Does this apply to UAE orders too?

No. UAE orders are domestic and are not subject to customs duty in the first place, so DDP doesn’t apply — see our Shipping Policy for UAE delivery details.

Can customs still delay my delivery?

Occasionally, yes. Even with duties pre-paid, customs authorities may still hold a shipment briefly for routine inspection or documentation checks. This does not mean you owe additional money — see our Shipping Policy for more on potential delivery delays.
